A House Divided
Today after much stuffing and celebrating we prepare for the annual clash of two sports powerhouses, Florida State and Univeristy of Florida. These games have always been a great rivalry. However, with one son attendinging Florida State and a daughter and a daughter-in-law as Gator graduates, it does get to be a tad crazy here.
Today, we will be staying at our daughter's home to watch the game. So, it may be a little difficult to fully support the Seminoles, but my heart will be with both teams and I only pray for it to be a good game.
Obviously the Gators have the much better team on paper. They have destroyed nearly every opponent they have encountered over the past several weeks with scores north of 40 points and one that looked more like a basketball score than a football score with 70 points.
Still the Seminoles have been playing well lately. Their defence keeps improving and they are coming off the big Maryland win last week so who knows.
Whichever way it goes, one child will be thrilled and talking trash to the other for at least a year.

Jim,
I'm grateful that you have 2 GOOD football teams to cheer for! Out here in Washington, both the Huskies and Cougars had WINLESS seasons. In the Apple Cup, the Cougs won the Huskies. Well, now the dogs can finally look for a new coach.
We had a great and quiet Thanksgiving. Nate is coming home from studying in Spain right before Christmas. He's been overseas since June and it will be good to have him home for a while.
Take care, and I'll try to catch up in a little bit. My art curriculum business is growing and keeping me out of trouble -- bummer.
Love and hugs.
Kelly
